Concerto Grosso, where the soloists, usually three, but could also
be two or more than three (forming the so-called "concertino")
sounded talking to each other before merging with a larger group,
normalmete formed by a chamber orchestra, (known as "ripieno"),
this musical form has characterized the golden age of Italian baroque.
